Running is a great way to burn fat! Does the time of day you train have anything to do with the effects of exercise?

It is better to run at any time of the day than to be inactive.

Here are the pros and cons that come with running at certain times of the day.

Running in the morning

This is not the best time for physical activity, as the body temperature is low and your muscles and lungs are not yet working at full strength. The energy you got from last night’s food is already running out and running in the morning can be a real strain. However, this time of day can also have its advantages. After training, you will feel great and full of energy and you will definitely wake up well, calories are spent faster on an empty stomach.

Midday running training

This is the time when your body has woken up and your lungs and blood flow are working at full steam. The body temperature is higher and you are not sleepy. By now you must have already eaten, so you have available energy to spend. However, if you work or have other commitments, this time can rarely fit into your daily rhythm, and in the summer it can be too hot to run during this period of the day. It’s true that it’s easier to motivate yourself to run in the afternoon than in the morning when you’d rather stay in bed.

Evening run

The evening or late afternoon is the time when physical activities are best performed because the body temperature reaches its peak, the muscles are well supplied with blood and you have enough energy for a hard workout. Even lung function is much better at this time of day.

So this is the time when the training will be the least demanding. Ideally, you have completed all the responsibilities and can devote yourself.
