In essence people with blood type A need very little fat to function well. However, a large tablespoon of olive oil a day with salad or vegetables will help with digestion and excretion as well. Lectins from safflower oil cause problems in the digestive tract of people with type A blood at any rate. So that causes the opposite effect.
Of course, only two oils are very useful: olive and linseed. But olive oil is much tastier and better for cooking than linseed oil.
