Does sweating mean losing weight and melting fat?

Do not associate sweating with the intensity of the training or with the result. Sweating is the body’s reaction to elevated body temperature and the process by which the body cools down.

When you sweat during training and you notice that your weight decreases. That is fluid loss. That’s why it seems easy for you to lose so much of your weight so quickly. It doesn’t show how many calories you’ve lost. So you can sweat profusely without losing calories.

Many think this is an indication of how good the training was. The amount of sweat from training depends on several factors, gender, age, genetics, temperature and humidity, and body weight. Heavier people sweat more because their body generates more heat. Sweat is a way of cooling. Through sweating, we cool the increased body temperature.

Another factor that affects sweating is the level of fitness

Those who are in better shape begin to sweat earlier during training than those who are less fit. As fitness levels increase, your body’s temperature control becomes more efficient. It cools down faster and allows you to exercise at a higher level.

You didn’t lose weight so easily, you just lost fluids from your body. You will regain the weight as soon as you rehydrate. Also, if you didn’t sweat too much, it doesn’t mean that you didn’t exercise well and didn’t burn enough calories. There are people who sweat a little, and this has nothing to do with losing weight, nor with burning calories during training, or the intensity of the training.

The important fact is that you can lose more calories while exercising in the cold than in the heat. Your muscles spend more calories to warm up the body. Heat is released and this is what helps your body keep its temperature stable.
Don’t bother exercising in very hot weather because you won’t lose weight. Many fool themselves and put on more clothes to sweat and lose weight. Not that it would be too easy.

Losing weight is a little more difficult process.

With a combination of different types of exercises: cardio, strength, and flexibility, you will lose weight the easiest. To lose weight, you will need to pay more attention to the amount of food you eat, and not to how much you sweat.
